Sally’s Legacy
Retired historian Lucia “Cinder” Stanton had been working on the site in 1968 and recalls that Sally’s name was never even mentioned. Very little had been talked about the entire family in general, but in 1993 the tours started to get more in depth and transparent with the slaves stories. This change amazingly drove descendants of salves to the property (above)!
