16. Etta
This Rottweiler mix was a stray who’d spent most of her life next to railway lines. She would eventually find herself a companion with a homeless man and slept with him through most nights. However, her friend was suddenly gone one day, leaving Etta to hopelessly wait for his to return for 2 years. Eventually, Etta was trapped and caught and given love and attention once again.
You can see in the photo above just how happy this old girl is to finally have a caring owner again.
