Just because Halloween is over doesn't mean we can't get more spooky flicks!
Guillermo del Toro is back at it with a paranormal thriller.
A young boy is living in a small, desolate town in Oregon. He has a weird hobby of bringing small, dead animals to a human-monster hybrid that might be his father. You know, just small-town Oregon things.
The monster ends up escaping the bolted-shut room that the boy keeps it in. It soon becomes a twin-wide epidemic that involves a teacher at the boy's school and the sheriff of the town.
In true del Toro fashion, there's little to be known about what's going on in the plot. We do know that the sheriff is able to zero in on the monster in the creepy backwoods but other than that.. We're just going to have to wait and see what it is!
Some believe it could be some sort of shape-shifting werewolf. Others believe it's a Wendigo, a supernatural being that preys on children and lives in the woods...
The trailer itself gives us tons of horrifying imagery. If anything, this will be visually stunning!
