The Couple of the Hour
At the height of the party, the expecting couple would open up a box and reveal to everyone if they were going to have a boy or a girl. Inside of the box were balloons of a certain color. If it was blue, they would be expecting a boy, and if the balloons were pink, it would be a girl.
