The Removal Surgery
Louise went into surgery and was put to sleep for the entire procedure. It was a very long and difficult one, and the doctors weren’t certain it would work. Louise had the surgery performed at her local hospital in Kent. By some form of great skill and luck, the surgeons deflated the tumor, and they were able to remove it. The procedure took a grueling four hours, and the surgeons also had to take out Louise’s right ovary as well as her fallopian tube.
