The Gallo family were a part of Mexico’s more affluent community. Their daughter, Paola, was a 25-year-old student pursuing her Master’s degree in psychoanalysis and spent her free time volunteering at orphanages and hanging out with her many friends. She and her family had high hopes for her future as she was a motivated young woman. Everything changed when she and her friends visited the Gallo vacation home.
