Karl Wallenda Seconds Before Falling
He was 123 feet above the ground between two hotels in San Juan.
The Great Wallendas were a high acrobatics circus group that promoted death-defying stunts and high wire walks. Two members of the troupe died due to the stunts in 1962 when the three-man pyramid collapsed during a performance. Karl himself lost his life during a tightrope walk in 1978.
