An alert went out across the nation to find Jessica while police officers, rescue workers, and amazing volunteers began to look around the area for her or any other traces that could give them an idea as to where she was. They started in the wooded area around the home and then expanded. The more they searched, the more obvious it was that she was not there. Three weeks later, the police finally found a lead.
