Cheetos, a Frito-Lay byproduct, are available in pretty much any form you can think of. The latest addition to the line of crunchy snacks: Flamin' Hot Popcorn. It's a pretty self-explanatory creation: Popcorn covered in the classic spicy Cheeto dust. (Did you know there's actually an official term for that? It's called Cheetle. The more you know).
Cheetos fans go crazy for the stuff. A restaurant in North Texas even sprinkles Cheetle on tacos or inside cupcakes. Too far? Maybe, maybe not. It seems to be a hit among some people.
“We’ve seen the way Cheetos lovers don their red- and orange-dusted fingers like a badge of honor, and we’re always looking for ways to help them step up their snacking game,” Brandi Ray, senior director of marketing said. “The only way to truly take popcorn to the next level is to add the iconic Cheetle, the cheesy dust that will entice Cheetos fans to snack on this popcorn all year long.”
Along with the exciting new popcorn announcement, Frito-Lay also announced a couple of new chip flavors: Cheddar Jalapeno, Poppables Sea Salt & Vinegar, and Kettle Cooked Flamin' Hot.
