A Trip to Remember
When approached by someone down on their luck, it’s common that people look away and ignore them. This time, Matt was glad to have given Chauncy a listen, treating him like a person and answering his cry for help. He took Chauncy back inside the supermarket and they went on a shopping spree. Gathering pizzas, vegetables, snacks, peanut butter, milk, soap and toothbrushes, and cereal, among other things, Chauncy left the store with a feast, and a smile on his face.
