In 2018, Bloom was performing in a play when he stopped the performance to scold an audience member. He saw someone sitting with an electronic tablet in their hands. He assumed that they were recording his work. He screamed to put the tablet away. When the fan didn't, he left the stage. According to the woman, and those around her, she had been using the tablet to block an air duct that was blowing cold air on her.
