Amy Schumer Thinks Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Have a "Pretend Marriage"

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are one of Hollywood's favorite couples. They met in 2008 and married in 2010 and have been inseparable ever since. They always have each other's backs at award shows, and John constantly gushes over how much he loves Emily. It's a match made in heaven. Since the release of their films, A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part 2, fans are even more in love with the pair. However, there's been one longstanding critic who's made her voice heard once again. Amy Schumer saw the movie this past weekend, and while she praised the sequel, she had some choice words about Blunt and Krasinski.

"I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away," Schumer wrote. "Amazing to be in a movie theater. Although I've said for a long time I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend." Why does she take such a dig at the couple? What are these claims based on? Either way, Krasinski actually had a response for the comedian...

"Thank you Amy!...for blowing up our whole marriage spot," Krasinski wrote (joking). Before that, he actually recently opened up about what it's like to work with his wife. "Everybody was wondering how it would go working with your spouse, and so were we. We were very excited to see how that would go, and by 'excited,' I mean terrified. On the first movie, I found the best collaborator of my entire life," he went on. "She's not only the best actress, but she's someone who puts everyone at ease because she's so unbelievably prepared, unbelievably professional, and cares so deeply about the entire process."
