Mulvihill struggled to find employees to test that thing out. So, he had to opt for cash payment. He said that he would give $100 to anyone willing to go down the slide. One employee said, that it the payment, “didn’t buy enough booze to drown out the memory.” Many of the human dummies ended up face-planting on the apex of the loop and smashed their face in and broke their teeth. They ended up having to install a trap door at the top of the loop to get people that got stuck. The ride was closed about a month later.
