Deadly… Kayak Ride?

The kayak ride was a simple track filled with water that had some fake waves on it. Riders were simply to paddle up and down the path. Easy enough, right? Seems pretty harmless? Not so much. These boats tended to capsize, get stuck on the track, and simply just not work. Many riders had to flip themselves back over. In 1982, a boat capsized with a group of people in it. One of the men ended up stepping too close to an exposed wire in the water and was electrocuted. The kayak ride was immediately closed for good.
