Sarah Gomez-Lane won a Doodle for Google contest in 2018. For their tenth year, Google reached out and asked people to submit Doodles that reflect their hopes, dreams, and passions. The prompt was: “What inspires me…” Sarah says she wants to be a paleontologist when she grows up, and her Doodle indicates just that.
For the first time since Doodle for Google was launched ten years ago, a team was able to collaborate with Sarah to make her dino dreams come to life. Sarah also received $30,000 toward a college scholarship, and her elementary school in Falls Church, VA, will receive $50,000 to spend on technology to encourage their students to pursue what inspires them.
