20. Listen to audio casts and podcasts on 1.5 or 2x the speed
There is an ongoing trend in Silicon Valley where people listen to audiobooks at 150 or 200 percent speed called “speed listening.”
The time-saving technique was first suggested by the tech blog, GigaOM, back in 2010, and software such as FasterAudio that aims to help “cut your audio learning time in half.” has since been released.
Overcast is a much more powerful too, though, as it not only is capable of speeding up audio but can also remove fluff (dead pair, pauses between sentences, intros, etc) that makes up the bulk of most audio books.
Try this technique once and you’ll find yourself learning at twice the speed as well.
