6. Make a bucket list and actually take the time to complete it

What are the things you absolutely want to do before you die? Well, start with that, and slowly design your life around those things. Or, as Stephen Covey explained in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, “Begin with the end clearly in mind.”

A good mental exercise would be to imagine what you’d do if you only had 30 days to live. Then, bump that up to five, then ten, and so on.

Remember, nobody gets to live forever, so get to work, have a “death-bed mentality” and slowly knock things off of your bucket list.
