Miss Sophia Loren began her acting career as a 15-year-old teenager in Italy where her natural beauty was discovered at a beauty pageant. She then went on to appear in her first international film, The Pride and Passion, in 1956.
People back then just couldn’t get enough of the actress’ thick Italian accent. It also didn’t hurt that she was quite talented, having earned herself an Academy Award, five Golden Globes, and a Grammy, throughout her career.
