Paul Revere
You know him! “The British are coming!” is his extremely famous quote. Originally a silversmith, Revere organized an intelligence and alarm system to protect the town from the British forces. Later, he served as a militia officer, until that came to an end after the Penobscot Expedition, which was a bad campaign of the Revolutionary War. He was later absolved for the claim and kept his dignity in tact. He worked closely with Adams and Scollay during the war times. After the war, he went back to being a renowned silversmith, while continuing to be politically active. He was also the Grand Master of the Freemasons of Massachusetts when the box was buried.
