While sea lions aren't typically considered very dangerous, one man might argue otherwise. While swimming across the bay in San Francisco, a man was bitten in the arm by a passing sea lion. He was lucky, though, because a nearby sailboat spotted him in distress and came to his rescue, otherwise, swimming would have been pretty difficult without one of his arms.
