Angela Basset- African American Studies and Fine Arts
Attending Yale University, the famed actress of films like How Stella Got Her Groove Back and What’s Love Got To Do With It, Bassett majored in African-American studies. She went on to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree from the same college, pursuing acting full time following graduation. While in the school, she also met future husband and fellow actor Courtney B. Vance.
