Cancer survivor Sarah Thomas, 37, has succeeded in a remarkable quest to swim the English Channel 4 times in a row. After nearly 54 hours of swimming, she crossed her finish line in Dover Tuesday morning.
Thomas completed treatment for breast cancer last year in Colorado. She says she felt a little sick from so much time in the water after her swim, but she thanked her husband and supporters for cheering her on.
Thomas dedicated her swim to “all the survivors out there.”
