Musgraves’ fans gushed over the bubblegum pink fantasy, comparing her to a “human flower princess” and a “pink, cotton candy, cumulus cloud” when she made an appearance at the Oscars wearing a ruffled Giambattista Valli gown. Others, however, were not so kind.

Some people expressed less-than-glowing reviews of the dress, drawing comparisons to Barbies, loofahs, and perhaps most notably, Rachel’s bridesmaid dress in Friends.
