On National Dog Day, Busch Beer announced that it's now possible to crack open a cold one with the dogs, literally. The brand created a new, non-alcoholic brew specifically for your furry friend. Busch Dog Brew is made with bone broth filled with nutrients and delicious flavors. If you want to have even more bonding, the brand assures customers that it is also safe for humans to drink, so grab a glass (or a bowl).
Anheuser-Busch’s Vice President of value brands, Daniel Blake, said in a release, "After a long day there’s nothing quite like having a Busch with a friend, and with so many new pet owners across America this year, we wanted to create a brew to give our fans a chance to share a Busch brew with their ‘best friend." The brand also stresses that dogs are not permitted to drink alcohol, as this would be permanently toxic.
"Additionally, we’re proud to be able to partner with Best Friends Animal Society and continue our efforts to help those furry friends still looking for a home," said Blake.
The profits of the brew will benefit the Best Friends Animal Society, donating one dollar for every pack sold up to $50,000. The company will be selling both six and four-packs, but they are only available online. You can buy your first pack for $9.99 plus shipping on the company website.
