Pope Francis is Pays for 1-Year Worth of Rent for Beach for the Disabled

Everyone should enjoy a sunny day at the beach at some point in their life, even people with disabilities. That is why Pope Francis just commissioned to pay for a year’s worth of rent towards the Work of Love, a private organization that manages a small stretch of sand on the Little Madonna beach, which is open exclusively for people with disabilities.

Work of Love has managed their exclusive beach for the past 5 years. Their small section in the Little Madonna Beach is fully equipped to help people with disabilities to enjoy all parts of the beach experience including playing in the sand and experiencing the waves and the sun-lit water. The beach is equipped with boardwalks, ramps, wheelchairs for those that need it, and specially designed water vehicles for people of all disabilities. The beach is located 17 miles south of Rome and is completely managed by Work of Love, which is a volunteer-based organization.

According to the organization, the Pope donated an undisclosed amount that would be enough to keep the beach running for at least another year. The money will help in maintaining the special needs of the beach and supporting other financial needs of Work of Love. According to a news report, the organization was enthused and astonished by the Pope’s generous donation. Pope Francis is known for his philanthropy, and he often provides anonymous and undisclosed donations for causes that are near and dear to his heart.
