Never ever put your faith in the people of the Internet. They not only will let you down, but will humiliate you in more ways than you can ever imagine.
McDonald’s New Zealand learned this the hard way after running an online contest where New Zealanders could build and name their own burgers. This was done in honor of their new in-store touch screens.
While everything may sound good, everything started to fall apart on Wednesday as the internet started to rear its ugly head.

After a few racist and inappropriate suggestions, Mcdonald’s had no choice but to pull the competition out.
This is exactly why you shouldn’t trust the Internet.
